We’re celebrating our one year in business on Sunday, July 16th and what better way to celebrate than to have our first ever Axe Throwing Tournament!

Sunday, July 16th 12:00pm - 3:00pm

 

Space is very limited, and there will only be 20 spots available for the tournament. These spots will sell out fast!

 

 

Registration Price:

$75 per participant

 

 

Tournament Rules:

  • Each participant is allowed one spectator.
  • Each participant can expect to play 3-5 games (depending on time) on our moving projected targets.  (These are not WATL targets nor is this a WATL tournament).
  • Scores will be based on overall points earned and games won.
  • The 8 highest scores will advance to the finals. Final rounds will be 1 game elimination style. 

 

 

Practicing Before The Tournament:

Participants can practice during business hours any day up until the day of the tournament at a discounted rate. $15 for an hour instead of $25. Just show us a copy of your registration and a photo ID!

 

 

Sign-Up Perks:

All participants will receive a complimentary Tomahawk hat, free food and soft drinks on the day of the tournament. Oh, and your first beer is also on us!

 

All participants will be automatically entered in raffles with great prizes from local businesses.

Tournament FAQs

  • What is the first place prize?

    First place winner will receive $300 cash and a custom axe trophy!

  • Can I use my own axe?

    Yes, you can use your own axe during the tournament. The blade must not exceed 4 inches in length from tip to tip. The handle should not exceed 22 inches. The axe should only have one side with a blade. No tomahawks allowed.

  • How will the tournament be scored?

    Although this will not be a WATL certified tournament, we will still use similar rules to WATL. Rules that will apply are:

    • Code of conduct
    • Gameplay
    • Scoring

  • Can I bring in my own food and drinks?

    We will provide complimentary pizza and soft drinks on the day of the tournament. You may bring in your own food or soft drinks if you’d like. No outside alcohol is allowed.

  • How long will the tournament be?

    We are expecting the entire tournament to be done in 3 hours. The first 3-5 games should take about 2 hours to complete. The one game elimination round should take about an hour. These are approximate times and may change.

  • Can I practice before the tournament?

    Yes, all competitors can come in during business hours and throw for an hour for $15 up until the one day before the tournament. On the day of the tournament, you will only get 3 practice throws before your first game and 1 throw in between every other game.

  • Can I purchase beer during the tournament?

    Yes, beer will be for sale during the tournament.
